Office; North Shore Girls Elected Virginia Bixby was elected presi- dent of the Woman's Student Gov- ernment association at Northwestern university when the annual ballot was cast Tuesday for officers in the three women's organizations. Hortense Pen- dleton and Ruth Chatfield, both of Evanston, were elected presidents of the Woman's Athletic association and the several other successful candidates come from Wilmette, Kenilworth and Winnetka. Miss Bixby is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Bixby of Wil- mette. A junior at Northwestern, she has been a popular participant in college activities during her three years at the university. She is a mem- ber of Kappa Kappa Gamma. Ruth Bower, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I. A. Bower of Wilmette, was elected secretary of the Y.W.C.A. Elizabeth Sweet, daughter of E. M. Sweet of Kenilworth, was elected sec- retary of W.A.A. Virginia Ingram, daughter of the Willard E. Ingrams of Winnetka, was elected treasurer of W.A.A. Edith Dillon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William S. Dillon of Winnetka, was chosen for the office of second vice president of W. S. G. A.
