"n' Everything at Northwestern's Big Show to Be Un- der Canvas April 29 and 30 "Gypsy Rendez-vous," "Northwest- | ern on High," and "The Ten Scrib- | bler Brothers" are some of the spe- cialty stunts which will occupy the center stage at Northwestern univer- | sity's annual circus, under the auspices of the campus Y. M. C. A. and Y. W. C. A, April 29 and 30. These are to | be the contributions of Omega Upsi- lon, Chi Omega and the Scribblers, respectively. Miss Edith Dillon and Gordon Bar- ker announced Tuesday that the fol- lowing sororities and fraternities with the stunts named are winners of the right to show their stunts before the | circus audiences: Delta, Delta, Delta, | "Darktown Circus"; Sigma Chi, "Northwestern's Greatest Sideshow"; | and Tau Delta Phi, "The Evolution of | Music." There will be novelty stunts by sororities, Sigma Alpha Iota, "The Bear-Backs"; Kappa Kappa Gamma, | "The Campus Race"; Alpha Epsilon | Phi, "The Animal's Fair"; Alpha Xi Delta, "The Circus Coquette; Aokiga, "Pink Lemonade or Circus Moon- | shine"; and Delta Mu, "The Circus | Acrobats." ! Side Ring Acts Side ring acts by fraternities are | "The Wah Show" by Sigma Alpha | Epsilon; "A Fraternity Tumbles" by | Phi Mu Delta; "Persecution of the | Christians" by Phi Nu Beta; "Refresh- | ing Incidents" by Delta Tau Delta; | and "The Trained Phi Delts" by Phi | Delta Theta. One of the professional | fraternities from the McKinlock cam- | pus of Northwestern will give the sixth | fraternity novelty act. The contest on | the downtown campus has not closed | yet. | Fifty Northwestern organizations | entered the contest in which the | eighteen were chosen. The stunt field was narrowed down to 18 on the ad- vice of the judges, Maury Kent, Northwestern's basketball coach, Mrs. Leon G. Kranz, wife of a professor of physical education, and Prof. Fred- erick B. Kaye, of the Department of English. To Award Cups Four cups will be awarded for the best novelty and specialty stunts. Spe- cial clown stunts and one or two spe- cialty acts will be additional features of the performance.
