Chief W. M. Peterson calls them his "Little Pappooses." Miller ap- pointed a Plan Commission at the meeting of the Village council Tuesday evening of this week, as provided by an ordinance enacted several months ago for the establishment of a legally organized plan commssion under the state law. The commission personnel includes the following: Charles M. Thomson, chairman; Mrs. M. H. Lieber, B. F. Affleck, Eugene E. Rummler, John R. Leonard, and H. C. Phillips. In addition to the members the or- dinance also provides that the Village President, president of the Board of Local Improvements, a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals, and a mem- ber of the Park board shall be ox- officio members of the Plan Commis- sion. It is expected that the selection of a member from the Board of Appeals and the Park board will be announced at the next meeting of the village council, after which the commission will be organized to proceed with its duties. J. to Francis Van Wyck Mason, son of Mrs. Francis Payne Mason, formerly of Winnetka, and the late Dr. Francis Payne Mason. During the war Mr. Mason served overseas with the Seventy-Ninth divi- sion. His grandfather, Frank H. Ma- son, was consul general at Paris and Berlin from 1896 until 1913. The wedding will take place in the autumn. Mrs. Arthur M.
