T. Leonard company, of 556 Cen- ter street. This is a seven-room house of Eng- lish architecture, in which a most pleas- ing combination of stone and stucco has been worked into its exterior de- sign and construction. It is the fourth house sold of the six which this firm has built for spring market. Building for Fall The E. T. Leonard company, has ac- quired vacant property for the erec- tion of six more new residences which they have already started for the fall market. All will be on Woodlawn ave- nue, in Glencoe, four being east of the tracks, and two at Lake avenue. Work has already been started on the east side. The first two of the east-side group will be on lots 59 by 200 feet, both English type houses of eight rooms and three baths, one of stone and stucco and the other of brick and stucco. They will range in price around $30,000. Gladys Hight Pupils 1 to Give Recital May 18-19 . The Gladys Hight School of Danc- ing is having its spring recital two nights at the Eighth Street theater, Wabash avenue at Eighth street, Chi- cago, Wednesday and Thursday, May 18 and 19. This will be the eighth year of Gladys Hight's ballets which she calls "Ballet Unique of 1927." The program will include a children's ballet, called "Hollywood," and an adult ballet of a hundred people. This will be a bacchanale and will present an adagio group of twenty men and women students. Miss Hight will sail for a short trip to Europe immediately after the recital and return to conduct her teachers' course in July.
