In case of rain it will not be postponed, but will be moved into the Winnetka Women's club nearby. The proceeds of the affair are used each vear to beautify some part of Win- netka. Mrs. C. Colton Daughaday is presi- dent of the Winnetka Garden club, which is sponsoring the market. Mrs. Alfred Edgerton Manierre has leased her house at 717 Rosewood ave- nue to the James Prindivilles and plans to go to Virginia early in June with her daughters, Jeanette and Barbara. After spending some time in Virginia, Mrs. Manierre will travel in Europe and elsewhere. -- Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schwall of 797 Cherry street, and Mr. and Mrs. Wil- liam Brand returned from California Saturday, after having spent the win- ter there. Coming back by motor, they passed through flooded places and were forced because of the flood to go down to Louisiana and Texas. Spring Flowers Color May Wedding Ceremony Baskets of spring flowers lent a colorful touch to church and home last Saturday afternoon, when Miss Norma Schuettge and Ralph Edinger were married. The ceremony took place at 5 o'clock, in the Presbyterian church, with the Rev. George P. Magill offici- ating. Immediately afterward, the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Schuettge, were host and hostess at a reception and dinner for eighty guests at their residence, 804 Greenwood ave- nue, Wilmette. A gown of white chiffon fashioned in period style was worn by the bride. Her tulle veil was caught with orange blossoms, and her bouquet was of white sweet peas and lilies of the valley. Mrs. George A. Hallstein of Winnetka, her sister's matron of hon- or, wore a frock of pale pink georgette and carried roses. The bridesmaids, Miss Bertha DeHaye, Miss Jane Rob- erts, of Wilmette, and Miss Katherine Edinger of Winnetka, wore bouffant dresses of French blue georgette and carried arm bouquets of spring flowers. Mary Lois Rambler of Rogers Park and Janice Tidmarsh of Manitowoc, Wis., as little flower girls, wore white dotted Swiss dresses and carried bas- kets of spring flowers. Clarence Edinger of Evanston was best man and Roy Olsen, Howard Mattias, "and William Melvin were ushers. All of the groomsmen live in Evanston. Mr. and Mrs. Edinger are now at home in their apartment at 910 Colfax street, Evanston.
