May 21, 1927 WINNETKA TALK : 9 Instrumental Trio in Concert Before Rotary The Wilmette Rotary club was enter- tained by an instrumental trio Wed- nesday of this week, comprised of three former New Trier High school students, Estelle Swigart, 'cellist; George Swigart, violinist, and Frances Anderson, pianist. The trio has been appearing professionally in Chicago and vicinity during the past winter. The Swigarts are residents of Wil- mette, while Miss Anderson lives in Winnetka. The: youthful musicians were accompanied by Mrs. Marian Cot- ton, supervisor of music at New Trier, who enlisted the interest of the Ro- tarians in the forthcoming convention of the National association of Music Supervisors scheduled to be held in Chicago next spring. The Rotarians were addressed by Harvey C. Daines of Chicago on the subject, "Some Principles of Effective Business Organization." Mr. and Mrs. Hugo O. VonHofsten and their daughter, Polly, return Saturday, May 28, from a winter in Pasadena. They will spend a week in Winnetka before leaving for their summer home at Leland, Mich. Mr. VonHofsten will bring back some sketches and water colors which he made of California. He will exhibit these in the Camp Fire room of Com- munity House from May 29 to June 5. a Mr. and Mrs. Samuel O.
