Leonard Home The quaint little Spanish bungalow recently completed at 109 Linden ave- nue, Hubbard Woods was designed and built by E. T. Leonard of the E. T. Leonard Co., builders, of 556 Cen- ter street, for his home, and was the scene of a jolly "house warming" party Saturday evening of last week. The building is located well toward the rear of a 135 foot lot having 3 frontage of fifty feet on Linden. The | front of the lawn is being attractively landscaped, featured by a minature sunken garden in the center. The house, as all typical bungalows of this type, has a blended red Span- ish tile roof and the exterior is of rough plaster finish. There is a two car attached garage. Mrs. Leonard, who returned from Florida a short time ago, was sum- moned to Racine, Wis., soon after- ward by the illness of her mother. During her absence the building was completed and Mr. Leonard had their furniture, which had been in storage, moved to their new home, and with it also had installed a new baby grand piano. The following were the out of town guests at the "house warming" party: Miss Betty Subject, of New York; Miss Jean Zinnen, of Calumet, Mich. ; Miss Josephine Williamson and Wil- liam Hettrich, of Racine, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. George Miller, of Evanston; and Misses Agnes Larkin, M. Hett- rich and Anna Tipton and Paul Krause, of Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Davis of 545 Chestnut street announce the birth of a son May 4, at the Evanston hospital. James Clyde Davis is the name chosen for the baby. Wed Fifty Years Dr. and Mrs. Z. E. Patrick of Win- netka celebrated their Golden Wed- ding anniversary Tuesday with a din- ner given in their honor at the Orring- ton hotel, Evanston. The guests were twelve relatives, some of whom came from out-of-town for the celebration. After the dinner, the party went to 384 Elder lane, Winnetka, the home of Mrs. A. H. Goodhue and Mrs. Ruth Killips, two daughters of Dr. and Mrs. Patrick. Mrs. F. C. Wright of 829 Greenwood avenue, Glencoe, is another daughter. Coming from Kankakee for the anniversary were Mrs. H. W.
