Faculty Dr. Augustus Raymond Hatton, Mar- cus A. Hanna professor of Political Science at Western Reserve university. Cleveland, has accepted the chair of Political Science at Northwestern uni- versity to succeed Prof. P. O. Ray, who recently took a position in Cali- fornia. Announcement of his accept- ance was made by Dean Raymond A. Kent, of the College of Liberal Arts, last Thursday. Besides being a master of the theory connected with political science, Dr. Hatton has applied his theories to ac- tual government. Notable among his contributions was drawing up the new charter for the city of Cleveland. Dr. Hatton graduated from Franklin college, Indiana, in 1898, serving there several years as a member of the fac- ulty. His doctor's degree was ob- tained from the University of Chicago in 1907 and he was associate profes- sor in the extension division there for several years. D,, former assistant at St. Luke's Episcopal church, Evanston, now connected with the Berkeley divinity school at Mid- dletown, Conn. has accepted the Western Theological seminary dean- ship to succeed the Rev. William C. DeWitt, recently resigned. Dr. Grant is expected to take up his residence in Evanston next September where the new build- ings of the seminary may be erected. He is rated as probably foremost among the younger scholars of the Episcopal church in the United States. He is author of several volumes and the editor in chief of the Anglican Theological review. Mrs. Grant is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hardie of Evans- ton. B. W. Kellogg Continues as Dealer for Franklin B. W. Kellogg, for several years manager of the Evanston branch of the Franklin-Butler company, is now the Evanston representative of Frank- lin. He has organized under the name Kellogg Motor company, with head- quarters at 808 Grove street, the for- mer sales room and service station of the Franklin Butler company.
