Reid in Many Realty Deals in Glencoe Area Robert Mason, formerly of Chicago, is now occupying the new seven-roon brick house, with tile roof, at 491 Oak dale avenue, Glencoe, which he pur chased recently of Albert Kloepfes through Frank A. Reid, of 954 Linden avenue, Hubbard Woods. Mr. Reid also reports the sale o the eight-room stucco and frame resi dence at 475 Oakdale avenue, Glencoe formerly owned by Karl M. Becca, tc John J. Klauke, who took possession this week. Other recent sales by Mr. Reid wer: the northwest corner of Oakdale ave nue and Randolph street, Glenco~, 44 by 140 feet, sold for Karl M. Becc: to Chris Christen who will improv: the property with a seven-room brick residence, with two baths; a Spanish style house which he will build for the market. Also, the southwest corner of Drexel and Vernon avenues, Glencoe, 100 by 140 feet, for Dan DeVelin, of Chicago, to Charles H. Dunlap, of Winnetka. Mr. Dunlap has already broken ground for the erection of an English type stucco house of six rooms and two baths, which he is building for the market. Albert Busscher has purchased from Ralph M. Taylor, through Mr. Reid, a 50 by 140 foot lot on the north side of Drexel avenue, Glencoe, 200 feet west of Greenwood, on which he will erect a six-room English type house, with two baths. This improve ment will also be for the market. Mr. Reid has also leased the resi dence at 780 Locust street, Winnetka, for Mrs. C. J. Knapp to I. Schuman; the store room in the new Linden court apartment to Miss Frances Carl- son, for a beauty parlor, and a four- room apartment in the same building to A. C. Jewell. Mr. Jewell recently sold his residence at 809 Locust street. Open Children's School at Kindergarten College The Children's school of the National Kindergarten and Elementary college will open Monday, June 20, for a four- week summer term. The large, cool rooms of Harrison hall, and the shady playground, afford an ideal environ- ment for this summer session, which will include the nursery school and La Verne Pearson to Wed Edmond Schneider June 28 The marriage of La Verne Pearson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August C. Pearson of 898 Cherry street, to Ed- mond Schneider, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mathew Schneider of Wilmette, will take place on June 28 at the Sacred Heart church. The Reverend Father | Haarth will read the service at 9 o'clock in the morning, and a recep- | tion for the immediate families of the bride and groom will be held at the Pearson home after the ceremony. Attending Miss Pearson as maid of honor will be Miss Beatrice Flinn, and Mr. Joseph Schneider, brother of the groom, will act as best man. The bride's small brother, James, will serve as ring bearer, while Dorothy, cousin of the groom, will be flower girl. The couple will take a trip to the Dells, and will be at home on Lake avenue in| Wilmette after July 15. ENTERTAIN FOR BRIDE Miss Jeanette Weis of 1529 Elm- | wood, Wilmette, who is to be married | on June 22 to Lester Carroll of Win- netka, was guest of honor at a lunch- eon bridge and silver shower given at the North Shore hotel Saturday by a group of friends. Miss Weis was also entertained at a miscellaneous shower by her sister, Mrs. William Seigel of 305 Seventeenth street, Wil- mette, Monday. Ray Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Davis of 1376 Asbury avenue, leaves Monday for Indian Hill Camp.
