Inevitable As Tomorrow Cir Evanston, center of culture, should add to its achievements in the fields of music, drama, writing another significant mile- stone--a truly representa- tive academy of art. Inevitable, that, when this art school be established, it must be as fine, as worthy in its own sphere, as those other institutions to which Evanston renders its dis- criminating patronage. A school of which Evanston could be proud; one able to bear the trust of a dis- cerning community. A strong school with a defi- nite method and an or- ganization competent to achieve it. me EVANSTON ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS Carlson Building, 636 Church St. Greenleaf 1674 CARL SCHEFFLER, Director Fall Session Summer Session | earlier part of the evening. Flight of Lindbergh to Be Shown in Fire at 4th Celebration A fireworks picture of Lindbergh's flight from America to Paris, stretch- ing all the way across the gridiron at Dyche stadium, will be the climax of the spectacular Fourth of July celebra- tion Evanston is planning this year. This specialty is only one of the 60 or 70 which the greatest fireworks dis- play the north shore has ever seen will include in the one hour program at the close of the evening. Noah's ark with the animals making their exit, Eiffel tower and other interesting objects will help fill up the program offered by the bright lights. The program at the stadium will begin at 7:30 and cover about three hours' time. A professional act fea- turing ten clowns, will hold the stage for about a half hour during the Several short and snappy demonstrations by local organizations such as the Boy Scouts, who will drill, and the Bureau of Recreation, will usher in the cele- bration. * Under the direction of the Bureau of Recreation, the Pirate Drill, in | which more than a hundred boys par- ticipated at the spring festival, will be | repeated at this Independence day ob- servance. The girls who did the Tar- antella dance, about 125 in number, at the festival, will present this number as part of the Recreation bureau's contribution. To focus the attention of the aud- ience on the significance of the day itself, the salute to the flag will be given by the assembled spectators, fol- lowed by the voices of nearly 50,000 united in a rendition of America. A daylight fireworks display will lead up to the big feature of the eve- ning, the night fireworks described above. Besides the specialties, there will be about 350 shells in the air dur- ing the exhibit. The committee is busy trying to solve the problem of how to seat the crowd of 40,000 expected to attend in the stadium which has only 34,000 seats available. The tickets are re- served and an early purchase is ad- visable. After July 2, the price on individual admission tickets will be raised from 50c to 75c. 417 Warwick Road The North Shore Montessori School 761 CHERRY STREET - - A Private school for children from 3 to 8 years of age.
