The principal bequest is the gift of his home at 325 Ridge avenue, Win- netka, to the Congregational church of Winnetka of which he was a member, to be held as the "N. Hopkins and Helen W. Blatchford Endowment" for the maintenance and upkeep of the Winnetka Community House. Other bequests are $5,000 each to the seven grandchildren: Ella Marion Blatchford Berry, Elsie Larned Blatch- ford, Francis W. Blatchford, Jr.,, Walter Larned Blatchford, Nathaniel H. Blatchford, ITI, Frederick Kent Blatch- ford and Nicholas Blatchford. Miss Emma Olena Simonsen, his . housekeeper, is bequested $15,000.
