Natatorium Registration for the swimming classes being held at New Trier Natatorium is still open and will continue to be open throughout the season, which ends Au- gust 12. Although the registration so far is not so large as that of last year, those in charge expect the hot weather to bring many more to the pool. A small fee is charged for the lessons. Edgar B. Jackson of the high school staff is in charge of the classes. Al- though most of his pupils are under high school age, he has some of that age and three classes for women. All children's classes have an age division, set at ten years. In both divisions, there are classes for girls who pass the test, for boys who pass it; for girl non- swimmers, and for boy non-swimmers. There are also more advanced classes, formed from swimmers selected by Mr. Jackson. The requirement for these is the ability to do advanced swimming and diving. Adelaide Jones Heads N. S. The Kenilworth Garden club met last Friday for a buffet luncheon with Mrs. Charles Bull 612 Warwick road, who has cultivated one of the loveliest gardens in Kenilworth. On the fol- lowing Monday the members drove to Barrington to enjoy an afternoon as the guests of the Barrington Garden club. The Golden Text was from Isaiah 12:2, "Behold, God is my salvation: [ will trust, and not be afraid; for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my sal- vation." Among the citations which comprised the lesson-sermon was the following from the Bible: "I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth; for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come" (John 16: 12, 13). The lesson-sermon also included the following passages from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," by Mary Baker Eddy; "Divine Science derives its sanction from the Bible, and the divine origin of Science is demon- strated through the holy influence of Truth in healing sickness and sin. This healing power of Truth must have been far anterior to the period in which Jesus lived. It is as ancient as 'the Ancient of days.' It lives through all Life, and extends through- out all space" (p. 146). RESCUES BOAT CREW Four Evanston boys, sailing a yacht out of the Sheridan Shore Yacht club Wednesday, June 22, were sighted by Wilmette life guard, Packy McDer- mott, who saw their distress signal | flying. He notified the Evanston Life Saving crew, which effected a timely rescue. There are 400 hospitals and sani- tariums, totaling 52,858 beds, in Illinois.
