The "Own Your Own Home Bureau" has recently been opened by a group of Utility and Electric Railway Companies, including the North Shore Line. The Bureau is permanently located at 72 West Adams Street, Chicago, and is prepared to give valuable assistance to the prospective buyer or builder of a home within the Chicago Metro- politan Area. The Bureau has nothing to sell, nor is it concerned with any particular section of the Metropolitan Area. To anyone interested in owning a home, the Bureau will give valuable free information on the territory, home planning, financing, location, cost of homes in relation to income, etc. Every home-seeker is invited to use this free service. that would come to the beautiful Skokie Valley in the wake of ade- quate transportation, the North Shore Line, when constructing its new Skokie Valley Route, spent a large sum of money to build attractive stations of approved Spanish archi- tecture. Roane the character of homes Nine stations, similar to the one pic- tured above, are located conveniently along the Skokie Valley Route. They are forerunners of the splendid home development which has already made itself evident along the Skokie Valley. It was logical that this development should follow transportation. For Forerunners of Tomorrows Skokie Valley the Skokie Valley --a section greatly fa- vored by Nature -- is the natural locality for the continued, uncrowded growth of the North Shore. Many sections of the Skokie Valley already afford all home con- veniences -- sewer, water, electricity, gas, telephone, paving. If you have friends who wish tolive on the North Shore, tell them about "the newer North Shore, the picturesque Skokie Valley and itsexcellentelectrically-operated high-speed transportation service. Chicago North Shore and Milwaukee Railroad Co. The Road of Service There are more golf clubs adjacent to the North Shore Line Skokie Valley Route than along any other rail route of equal length in the world! November 19, the New Trier Dramatic club will present Earl Derr Bigger's play, "Inside "the Lines." Amusing comedy and more serious acting are { blended in this piece to make it a splendid opportunity for high school students to show their ability. As its title implies, "Inside the Lines," is a story of international in trigue and scheming at a time shortly after the outbreak of the World war {in 1914. The picturesque Rock of | Gibraltar is the scene of such a plot, {in which the governor general of | Gibraltar, British officers, spies, secret | service agents and a Hindu servant are involved, as well as a group of | worthy citizens from Kewanee, Ill, and an American girl from New York. Has Fine Experience The masculine lead is being taken by John Iliff, a senior, who will be re membered for his capable work last vear as the lead in "The Ghost Story," presented at the Girls' club bazaar, and for minor roles in "A Thousand Years | Ago," and "Icebound." With this pre- vious experience, there is reason to ex- pect a smooth performance in his por- trayal of Captain Woodhouse. Jean Marx, also a senior, is to be | cast as Miss Jane Gerson, the feminine i lead. Her experience has been limited to a single play during her early high school career at Country Day school, from which she came to New Trier a year ago. With so important a part, it will be interesting to follow her work, The Cast The other members of the cast in- clude the following students selected from the three upper classes : Mr. Joseph Almer......
