24 WINNETKA TALK December 3, 1927 At Last! A Fitting Setting for B. & G. Candies Matching with outer beauty the inner good- ness of B. 8 G. Candies, these Christmas con- tainers and wrappings have been created by craftsmen and artists in this country and in foreign lands. TONY SARG, famed artist and marionette showman, has painted clever boxes, large and small, for your gift of candy. They're smart and new this year. A TINY STUDIO in New York has produced hand- painted tin containers--novel, effective, when filled with B. ¥ G. home made candies. FROM FOREIGN ARTISANS come boxes wrought of hand-etched and chased brass, some embellished with finely tooled leather--Many are surprisingly low in price. ITALIAN and German artists have created bon-bon dishes of a pleasing variety of sizes, shapes and designs. New This Christmas are dresser boxes of hand-tooled Lebam papers, in a variety of colors and patterns--this gift continues its usefulness after its contents are gone--and the additional cost is slight. For those who wish distinctive wrappings for all their gifts leban Desi § are provided in convenient rolls--These are beautiful handcraft papers, lending themselves to many color schemes. FOR CHRISTMAS, B. 8 G. regular boxes will be wrapped in beautiful hand-blocked paper of red and gold, at a very small additional cost.
