(Keep This Calendar--See Every Show) "The Rough Riders" Christmas Billing at Teatro del Lago A change of program every day of the coming week and a special matinee on Monday have been arranged by Teatro del Lago for the Christmas holiday period. Pictures scheduled for showing are "The Small Bachelor," "Rough Riders," T'ea for Three," "Breakfast at Sunrise," "Wreck of the Hesperus," "South Sea Love," and "Very Confidential." "The Small Bachelor" will be shown this Saturday and is a Universal-Jewel farce comedy. Barbara Kent and Andre Beranger are featured. Human and rollicking in places, grimly affecting in others, blending finely all the essences of love, struggle, bravery, humor, pathos and death, "The Rough Riders" has been given a very high place in the honor roll by the critics. It breathes the idealism of Roosevelt and tells the dramatic story of the war with Spain. Sunday billing. "Tea for Three" will be shown on Monday. For those who have a liking for farce comedy of a high order, "Break- fast at Sunrise," which is scheduled for Tuesday with Connie Talmadge in the title role, should fulfill every execta- tion. "The Wreck of the Hesperus," a sea film based on the poem of the same name written by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, is to be the feature for Wednesday. Stark drama on a background of beauty is the achievement realized by Ralph Ince in "South Sea Love" which is to be the Thursday presentation. Patsy Ruth Miller, Lee Shumway, Harry Crocker and Allan Brooks are included in the cast "Very Confidential," Madge Bel- lamy's new starring vehicle for Fox Films, concluded the week's program. The action centers around the ego of a lively little salesgirl in a sporting goods store. "Two Arabian Knights" At Varsity on Monday "Two Arabian Knights," which is to be presented at the Varsity during the first three days of next week features William Boyd in one of the best farce- comedies of the present season. The plot revolves around the affairs of two American doughboys that have been captured by the Germans. They es- cape from the prison camp but are caught again. Finally after jumping from a prison train onto a hay wagon and incidentally being dumped from the wagon into the hold of a ship, they feature in the rescue of an Arab- ian girl, "wn Illinois is one of the six states which have more than $1,000,000,000 in trust unds.
