Ted Grant, and others spoke, The outstanding event of the evening was the expression on the part of the men of their desire for a monthly Scoutmasters' dinner. Mrs. Katherine Hannah Is Summoned by Death Friday A death which brought with it much sorrow to Kenilworth residents was that of Mrs. Katherine Hannah, wife of the late Alexander Hannah of Chi- cago. Mrs. Hannah passed away at her residence on Abbottsford road, Friday, Januaiy 6. She had been active until Sunday, January 1, when she was stricken with pneumonia. The best medical aid in Chicago was sum- moned to assist the physicians already in attendance, but to no avail. Mrs. Hannah came to live in Kenilworth about eight years ago that she might be near her family. Mrs. Hannah leaves a son, Alexander Hannah, and two daughters, Mrs. Arthur McIntosh, and Mrs. Alexander Newton, all of Kenilworth, and a large group of grandchildren, and one great- grandchild, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Ross (formerly Miss Connie Hannah). Funeral services were held at St. Francis Xavier's church in Wilmette, Monday morning, January 9, at 10 o'clock. "Way of Sperm Whaler," Museum Lecture Theme "The Way of the Sperm Whaler" is the subject of an illustrated lecture to be given at Field Museum of Natural History Sunday afternoon, January 22. Dr. Robert Cushman Murphy of the American Museum of Natural History, New York, is the lecturer. The lec- ture will be given in the James Simp- son theatre of the museum, and will begin at 3 p.m. While a portion of the theater is reserved for members of the museum, there will be several hundred seats available to the general public, and admission is free.
