The Golden Text was from John 15:10, "If ye keep my commandments, ve shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's command- ments, and abide in his love." Among the citations which com- prised the Lesson-Sermon was the fol- lowing from the Bible: "That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you" (John 15:12-14). The Lesson-Sermon also included the following passages from the Chris- tion Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," by Mary Baker Eddy: "Divine Mind rightly demands man's entire obedi- ence, affection, and strength.
