"Out All Night," the picture to be shown on Monday and Tuesday, is a Reginald Denny comedy. It is a fas- cinating little picture with numerous unusual quirks and humorous situa- tions. Bebe Daniels The University of California in Los Angeles provides the setting for Bebe Daniels' vehicle, "Swim, Girl, Swim," to be at the Village Wednesday. It was selected by Paramount officials after the personal request of Miss Dan- iels that she be allowed to make the production on that campus. Just one year ago the star selected the University of California as the location for the making of "The Cam- pus Flirt" and spent three weeks on the campus at Berkeley. Members of the cast in support of Miss Daniels in "Swim, Girl, Swim" are James Hall, Josephine Dunn and William Austin. Clarence Badger directed. Poor Professor For the peace of mind of college professors it is a good thing that Marion Davies is a co-ed only on the screef. This charming actress proves her ability for being a thorn in the side | of college faculties by her work in "The Fair Co-ed," her latest starring production for Metro-Goldwyn- Mayer, which is billed for Thursday and Friday. Johnny Mack Brown has the lead- ing male role in this story of modern college life from a feminine angle. Clever, These Chinese Riots and bloodshed, piracy and hand-to-hand fighting, adventure and romance are ingredients of Richard Dix' newest Paramount starring pic- ture "Shanghai Bound," which is play- ing Saturday only. It's laid along the Yangste river, the section that has kept China on the front pages of the nation's newspapers for many months. Dix is cast as captain of a river steam- er, with Mary Brian playing the Amer- ican heiress he brings down the river to safety. Luther Reed directed. FIRST YACHTING CAP Richard Dix has played in many pictures but he never wore a yacht- ing cap until his newest Paramount starring vehicle, "Shanghai Bound." But he isn't a vachtsman. He is cast as Jim Bucklin, captain of an ancient Chinese river steamer operat- ing up the Yangste from Shanghai.
