Torstenson, vice president of the J. A. Torstenson company, in- terior decorators, has bought two residential sites in Winnetka adjoining Elder Lane park on the north and fronting 239 feet on Sheridan road, from the Chicago Title and Trust company, trustee. They are scrved by a private road and have a private beach and pier. While the price was not disclosed it is reported tnat this property has been held for $65,000. It is stated Mr. Torstenson contem- plates erecting a beautiful home on one of the sites this spring. Claude W. Morris, subdivider and builder, is erecting a residence on an adjoining parcel. E. Edsall Olson, president of the real estate corporation, was broker. H. C. Crowell Purchases Indian Hill Home Site Henry Coleman Crowell of Win- netka has purchased one and three- quarters acres on Indian Hill road, facing on the third fairway of the In- dian Hill golf course at Winnetka from H.
