10 WINNETKA TALK February 18, 1928 Jane Addams Honor Guest at National College Tea Miss Jane Addams was the guest of honor at a tea given in Harrison hall on Monday afternoon, Febru- ary 13, by President Edna Dean Baker and the faculty of the National Kin- dergarten and Elementary college for the members of the Mary Crane Nursery School auxiliary. Miss Nina Kenagy, director of the Mary Crane Nursery school, gave an interesting sketch of the work which is being carried on with the children there, and Mrs. George M. Groves, 415 Davis street, Evanston, chairman of the auxiliary, outlined the purposes and plans of the organization which is interested in assisting with the support of this nursery school con- ducted by the National Kindergarten and Elementary college. Marshall Is Named President of Wilmette Club At a meeting of the officers and directors held recently the chairmen who will take charge of the club's ac- tivities during the 1928 playing season were appointed. They are: William J. Marshall, Evanston, of Peabody, Houghteling & company, 10 S. La Salle street, Chicago, has been elected president of the Wilmette Golf club, it was announced by the direc- tors of the club. Harry Herb of Evanston was elected vice-president, and Clifton P. Walker, vice-president of the National Bank of the Republic, was named treasurer. P. G. Beach was elected secretary. Sports and pastimes, W. H. Potter; grounds, William H. White; house, P. G.
