At the Locarno conference last sum- mer, co-education was one of the topics arousing great interest and dis- cussion and many of the progressive schools of Europe are working out experiments in that type of education. Mr. Smith referred particularly to an address by Dr. Geheeb, of the Odenwald school in Germany, who considered "the principle of equality between the sexes the chief pedagog- ical question of this time."
