BAHAI LECTURE "The Ighan--The Key to All the Scrip- ture," has been selected as the subject for the address to be given by Dr. Zia M. Bagdadi at the Studio, 536 Sheridan road, Wilmette, next Sunday at 3 P. M., the 11th inst. "The Book of Ighan," also known as "The Book of Assurance," was revealed by Baha'u'llah, and has opened, it is claimed, the teachings and scrip- tures of the Jews. Zoroastrians, Chris- tians, Mohammedans, etc. These lectures are particularly designed for the enlight- enment of the public on vital religious auestions. Alumnae to Hear Talk on Skokie Valley Plan The Chicago city plan as it affects the north shore, with particular refer- ence to the Skokie Valley {forest preserve plan, will be discussed when Col. Abel Davis addresses the dinner meeting of the Associate *Alumnae of Northwestern university, Friday eve- ning, Mar. 30 The dinner will be served at Le Petit Gourmet, 619 N. Michigan ave- nue, Chicago, at 6:30. It will mark the opening of the new banquet hall which is being included in the remodeling of this delightful eating place under the management of Mrs, William Sturges, well known to this particular Evanston group. The fame of the food served there assures an excellent meal. Col. Davis, who has well served both his country and his city, was graduated from the law school of Northwestern in 1902. LECTURE ON LABRADOR A free illustrated lecture, "Cruising Audubon's Labrador," will be given Saturday, March 10, by Howard H. Cleaves of New York, at the Field Museum of Natural History, Chicago. The lecture will be given in the James Simpson theater of the museum, and will begin at 3 p. m. Mrs. N. L. Hurd, 518 Sunset road, left Saturday for Champaign to visit her son, Herbert, who is in his junior year at the University of Illinois.
