Retain Experts for Northwestern Coach School this Season A stellar array of coaching talent will deliver a series of lectures at the second annual summer coaching school to be 'conducted at Northwestern uni- ° versity at Evanston August 13 to 25. Dick Hanley, head football coach at Northwestern, will have charge of the football course. Supplementary lec- tures will be given by such well known grid experts as Jess Hawley, head football coach of Dartmouth; Arnold Horween, head coach at Harvard; Judge Walter Steffen, head coach at Carnegie Tech and Duke Dunne, line coach at Harvard. Other members of the football staff include Pat Hanley, chief aide to his brother at Northwestern; Tim Lowry, freshman coach at Northwestern and former All-Western center: "Moon" Baker, former All-American half-back, and Herb Steger, former football cap- tain at Michigan. K. IL. Wilson, athletic director at Northwestern, will conduct a course in the organization and theory of ath- letic departments. Arthur "Dutch" Lonberg, head basketball coach at Northwestern, will give the course in basketball. Coach Lonberg just com- pleted his first season with the Purple in which his team won 12 out of 17 games for the highest percentage ever held by a Northwestern five. Frank Hill, veteran Purple track coach, will deliver a series of lectures on track. One hundred coaches attended the first session of the school last summer and more than double that number is - expected next August to take advan- tage of hearing the above group of experts on their favorite subjects.
