Bradstreet Trims Other 'Youngsters' on Gulfport Golf Course Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Bradstreet of 475 Cedar street have returned from a month's sojourn at Gulfport, Miss., whither they were accompanied by Mr. Bradstreet's father, J. Edwin Brad- street. The Senior Mr. Bradstreet had planned to go on down into Mexico, but after winning a championship on the Great Southern Golf course, at Gulfport, had no desire to travel fur- ther. He recently shot an 88, which won for him that honor in the 75-year- young-class of golfers in this winter mecca for golf enthusiasts. He is stopping at the Hotel Mark- ham, where his daughter, Mrs. How- ard H. Hoyt, of Winnetka, is also a. guest. They will remain in the south for another month. The Bradstreets motored down, going via Cairo, Memphis and Jack- son and returned by the way of Mus- cle Shoals, Nashville, Louisville and Indianapolis. In the latter city they stopped for a brief visit with the Wil- lard Bolte family, formerly of Win- netka. John, Charles and Brown Bolte, the sons, are attending Butler college there. Mr. and Mrs. Bradstreet also spent some time at Pass Christian and Biloxi, in all of which places they met many of their friends from Winnetka who have been spending the winter in the south. Jt was a most delightful trip throughout, Mr. Bradstreet says, and the golf courses and the weather are wonderful, so much so that it was difficult to pull away. But the real estate season on the north shore opened early in March and Mr. Brad- street, who with his son, Brownell, is engaged in that business at 788 Elm street, Winnetka, reluctantly laid aside his golf clubs and came on home to take up his tract book and real estate contracts.
