Fellows, 848 Ridge avenue, Evanston, is playing one of the leading roles in "Sea Plus," the annual musical comedy produced by the Woman's Athletic association at Northwestern and being presented to- morrow and Saturday at the Haven Intermediate 'school auditorium, Miss Fellows is a senior in the school of speech and has taken part in many campus theatricals. Girl Athletes Get Awards at Annual G. A. A. Banquet The Girls' Athletic association at New Trier High school held its annual basketball banquet Thursday evening at 6 o'clock. This year the banquet, instead of being only for those girls who had played basketball was open to all G. A. A. members and any girls who played basketball. Because girls other than basketball players were present, the name was changed to a G. A. A. banquet. Emblems were given to the girls who had made the swim- ming or basketball teams, and to those having enough points for their N. T. : A. emblems or stars. Sisterhood Holds First Meeting in New Temple The Sisterhood of the North Shore Congregation Israel held its first meet- ing in the new temple on Vernon avenue, Glencoe, on Wednesday of last week. Sewing started in the morning, luncheon was served, and in the afternoon Madam Sturkow-Ryder, well known pianist, gave a program that was greatly enjoyed. Madam Ryder has an amazing command of technique and a brilliant personality that makes her an artist of high stand- ard. Mrs. Sylvan Hirschberg of Glencoe is president of the Sisterhood, which embraces towns along the North Shore from Evanston to Waukegan. Other officers are Mrs. Arthur Oppenheimer of Highland Park, first vice-presi- dent; Mrs. Joseph Michaels of High- land Park, second vice-president; Mrs. Milton Simon of Wilmette, third vice- president; Mrs, Joseph Spiegel of Wilmette, recording secretary; Mrs. Arthur Adler of Winnetka, corre- sponding secretary: Mrs. S. Wester- field of Winnetka, treasurer; Mrs. Meyer Weil of Evanston, financial secretary.
