This new league is the outgrowth of a study class which has been conducted by Mrs. Maurice Lie- ber in Ravinia for three years. Mrs. John VanderVries attended the orga- nization meeting. 0 The name of Mrs. A. Ballard Brad- ley has been added to the names of the women who will check at the polls on April 10. Mrs. Bradley will serve under Mrs. Francis A. Lackner, chair- man of the 10th precinct. The league checkers at the polls will be very glad to furnish information as to the women voters to all partisan groups who may desire to know how many and what women are voting. Be sure to visit election headquarters. Men and women voters are invited and urged to visit the election headquar- ters of the Winnetka League of Wo- men Voters in the North Shore Elec- tric Station building, Elm and Lincoln streets, on Monday from 3 p. m. to 7 p. m. and on Tuesday from 8 a. m. to 5 p. m. Sample ballots of the Re- publican and Democratic parties may be secured there as well as information about candidates published by the Illi- nois League of Women Voters and the Woman's City club. There will be on hand for those interested the endorse- ments of the Illinois Federation of La- bor, anti-Saloon league, Legislative Voters league, and Better Government association. Any question relative to the laws of the Primary will be answered. There will be no charge for any material. Alpha Phi Alumnae to Give Benefit Bridge The alumnae chapter of Alpha Phi sorority will have its bridge party for the benefit of the house fund Satur- day afternoon, April 21, at 2 o'clock, at the Evanston Country "club. HEAR RABBI LEV} The weekly Friday evening services of the North Shore Congregation Israel were held in the congregation's temple, Lincoln and Vernon avenues, Glencoe, last Friday, April 6. Rabbi Gerson B. Levi read the service which was for the Passover holydays. The request was made that members of the congregation should come as promptly as possible, as the rabbis are kind enough to come from Chicago and are deserving of that courtesy.
