This year is the fifth the Thetas have given a subscription bridge in the spring to benefit the house fund. Both floors of the club will be thrown open to the affair. UNDERGOES OPERATION Lloyd Kingsley, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Kingsley of Cumnor road, Ken- ilworth, who recently was injured in an automobile accident and since which he has been in the Evanston hospital, underwent a serious operation Monday of this week. Dr. Ryerson, bone specialist of Chicago, performed the operation. Lloyd is believed to be on the way to recovery. Mrs. Lloyd Crossett of Geneseo, N. Y., mother of Mrs. Kingsley, is here for an indefinite stay. Jack Rathbone and John Robert Murray are spending the spring va- cation at their homes in Kenilworth. Both boys attend Princeton univer- sity. Eugene Cheeseman is home from Brown university, also, Bruce Hulbert from the University of Michi- gan. Fred'k B. PRESENTED WTIH TOKEN Two hundred guests attended the attractive get-together given the Club Vista del Lago Tuesday evening at the Opera club. Commodore G. Stuart Blackton presented Mellen C. Martin of Winnetka a gold membership card with the club seal and his own signa- ture as a token of the club's appre- ciation of the valuable services he rendered. Construction work on the club was resumed Tuesday of last week. George Massey, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Massey, 705 Sheridan road, will be the football manager of his class at Princeton this year.
