Wersted, at the meeting of the Winnetka Chamber of Com- merce last Monday evening, was elect- ed to the presidency of that organiza- tion for the ensuing year, The Chamber, at the same time, ex- tended a vote of thanks to Thomas J. Lynch, the retiring president, for his services during the past year. (Art) Smith New Member of Firm A change in the name of a Winnetka firm has just been announced, that of the North Shore Co., to Lynam Broth- ers and Smith. A new member has been added to the firm, A. W. (Art) Smith, a young man who was born and reared in the village and who enjoys a wide acquaint- ance throughout the north shore. Joseph Lynam resides at 989 Elm street. He is a member of Win- netka Post No. 10, American ILegion and is here to stay, he says, and is in- terested in every good thing that will benefit Win- netka. F. P.
