Beman, who gave many practical suggestions. The audience was especially interested in necessity of insulating and sound- proofing a building. There was dis- cussion on fire-proofing; humidifying; substitutes for plaster; brick; weather stripping; storm windows; glass; screens, window-frames; types of houses, and many other things that home-builders have to consider. Thursday evening, April 26, Ernst C. von Ammon discussed "Interior Decorating and Furnishing." Mrs. Walter L. Benson was chairman of the evening. Friday evening, April 27, Jens Jen- sen talked on "Exterior Decoration-- Trees, Shrubs, Gardens." Mr. Henry F. Tenney, Village President, was chairman. Kingery Speaks Tonight Tonight it is planned to. have "The Relation of Zoning Laws to Better Homes" presented by Robert S. Kingery. E. A. Rummler is chairman of this meeting. The last three evening meetings will be reviewed more in detail, later.
