BERTYVILLE I1 To Give Bridge as Benefit for Vets Wednesday, May 16 By P. H. On Wednesday of next week at 2 o'clock, at the Kenilworth club, there is to be a benefit bridge for the dis- abled war veterans. Cards have been sent to all members of the Neighbors and it is hoped that every one will respond. The proceeds of this party will be used during the coming year to provide cigarets, chocolate bars, deli- cacies and necessities for these dis- abled men at Great Lakes and, in many instances, for their families. These men are so grateful for the assistance rendered and are happy to have visitors at any time. Men and women are very welcome at the hos- pital and all who are interested are urged to drive out and see them. The committee suggests that those expecting to attend the benefit-bridge make up their own tables for the game but are urged not to stay away if unable to do so, as the committee will do any thing possible for the pleasure of the guests that day. Those donating prizes are asked to kindly deliver them not later than next Monday to any one of the following: Mrs. James Prentiss, Mrs. M. H. DeMent, Mrs. D. R. DeCamp, Mrs. J. C.
