The Juniors swamped the home team, getting 70 points to Deer- field's The New Trier dashmen really won the meet. Guy, Brown and Hoffman scored slams in the 50 and 100 yard dashes and nearly did the same in the 220. Guy lead in the 220 until the last few yards when Wesley, who is also Deerfield's best quarter miler, caught up with him and was able to stick out his Shes a little ahead as they hit the tap Deerfield s distance men almost made up for the weakness of their dashmen. They made a clean sweep of the mile and won two places in the half due mostly to the efforts of the Hammond brothers. W. Hammond kept well ahead of the rest of the field in the half until the last curve, where his brother and Ted Burgess passed him. Ted put up a hard fight but wasn't able to equal Hammond's sprint. Milton Guy with his 13 points earned in the sprints tied Carl Hall, who excelled in the field events, for the honor of being Senior high point man. Onderdonk, Deerfield's star hurdler, and Dave Wanger were close behind with 10 points each. MacIntosh ran up 24 points for the Juniors, winning the 50 and 100 yard dashes, the broad jump and shot put and tying with Hill for first place in the pole vault. The visiting Juniors made slams in the high jump and 660 vard run. Powell lead in the 660 from the gun to the tape with Boyleston and Older close behind him.
