It was a north shore golfer who sur- vived the hectic early rounds of the tournament to meet the Los Angeles star, this being Miss Virginia Wilson of Glenview. The score was 7 and 6. Among the starters in the champion- ship which finished last Saturday were several north shore players, but all fell by the wayside as Mrs. Pressler and Miss Wilson survived round after round. Among these stars was Mrs. Austin Pardue, the former Dorothy Klotz, who put up a great battle, but was eliminated. The final was a great contest. Mrs. Pressler came from behind and dis- played impressive golf, while Miss Wilson, after a brilliant start, seemed to tire in the second round and found many of the traps.
