{ August 25, 1928 WINNETKA TALK 15 Keen Rivalry in Competition for Tennis Supremacy Bill Morris, Senn High school tennis thampion, got a chance to compete in the finals of the junior singles divis- ion of the tennis tournament at New Trier High school, when Bob Stew- art, Florida boys' champion who had defeated him in the semi-finals, left for Florida to compete in a tourna- ment there. Stewart's withdrawal also left John Iliff in the running, but Morris eliminated him this week in straight sets of 6-3, 6-2, 6-2. John Sheldon, winner of last year's tournament, who is favored to meet Morris in the finals, advanced a step further this week by defeating R. Mc- Lean, 6-3, 6-0.
