Sixth Graders Present Special Book Week Play The sixth grade pupils of Miss Olga Leap at the Hubbard Woods school presented an original Book Week as- sembly at that school Thursday morn- ing. The pupils gave a playlet in which book characters were portrayed in costume. The play will be repeated next week when Miss Leap's room en- tertains for the mothers. Bohemian Glass Blowers Visit Winnetka Schools The Howell troupe of Bohemian glass blowers, headed by Dr. R. Mar- shall Howell, gave glass blowing dem- onstrations in the four public schools of Winnetka during the last week. The glass blowers appeared at the Skokie school last Friday, the Hubbard Woods and Greeley schools on Wednesday, and the Horace Mann school on Thursday. During his demonstrations Dr. Howell remarked that his grandfather had once made a glass dress for a Spanish' princess, and that this dress can still be seen in a museum in Spain. The Howell troupe answered questions asked by the pupils. Winnetkan Is Hostess to Tri-Delt Group Mrs. George R. Roehm, 155 Church road, entertained the members of the North Shore alliance of Delta Delta Delta at its regular monthly luncheon and meeting last Wednesday.
