Marshall, born in Chicago 70 years ago, died last mon- day at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Dudley, 414 Warwick road, Kenilworth. Her husband, the late Charles Henry Marshall, was a prominent manufacturer and real estate owner, and her father, Thomas Benton, was one of Chi- cago's first flour millers and a mem- ber of the Chicago Board of Trade. Mrs. Marshall is survived by four daughters. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon from the Dudley residence. Burial was at Graceland. June Marlowe sailed last week for Germany to play the lead in "The House of Glass," under the direction of Joseph Levigard in Berlin. --t The city of Chicago has gained more in population in seven years than the total population of any city in the United States excepting only four. Girl Scouts Get Large Kenilworth Headquarters Future meetings of the Kenilworth Girl Scouts will be held in a room in the old wing of the Joseph Sears school, formerly occupied by the fourth grade, which has moved to the new school addition. The seats have been removed, and the room will be used by the Scouts as their permanent head- quarters, it was announced this week by Miss Gertrude Herrick, assistant athletic director at the school. The following girls became regular tender- foot Scouts at investiture ceremonies held last week: Jane Harrison, Mary Huck, Marsha Huck, Barbara Clark, Elinor Clark, Dorothy Deacon, An- nette Williams, Widener.
