Yingling and Donald Cawelti, will present a program of traditional carols and other early Christmas music Fri- day afternoon, December 21, at 2 :30 o'clock in the Jane Kuppenheimer Memorial hall. 3 The consensus of opinion of cele- brated foreign and American educators and music critics visiting Skokie this year has been that these choruses are not surpassed in American Junior High schools. This will be the first oppor- tunity of this school year to hear these organizations under favorable circum- stances. The Boys' Treble Glee club, the Girls' Glee club, and the Mixed chorus, composed of the later and the Boys' Glee club, with the string section of the orchestra make up the group of one hundred and ten pupils who will present the program. The carol singing by the assembly will be accompanied by a stringed choir of twenty. The auditorium will sug- gest a mediaeval cathedral. Much of the singing is wholly or in part a cap- pella. Holds Annual Parent-Teacher Meeting Parents and teachers of the Chil- dren's school, National Kindergarten and Elementary college, held their an- nual meeting in Harrison hall Friday evening, December 14. The meeting was preceded by dinner given under the auspices of the Parents' council. Graphs based on the physical ex- aminations and mental and achievement tests given to the children were shown by Dr. Louise Farwell of the Psy- chology department and Dr. Mary Pope, physician, and the use made of this material by the school explained. Miss Edna Dean Baker, president of the college, gave the financial report of the school for the year and Miss Clara Belle Baker, director of the Children's school, told of the application which is being made of some of the ideas found in European schools by mem- bers of the faculty during their tour last summer. GIVE CHRISTMAS PARTY Teachers of the Greeley school en- tertained all teachers of the Winnetka school system at a Christmas party Thursday night at 8 o'clock. The party was one of four given annually by the public schools of the village-- Greeley, Skokie, Horace Mann, and Hubbard Woods. Elizabeth Parker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Stanley Parker, 200 Linden street, who is a sophomore at Smith college, is returning Thursday to spend Christmas and the holidays with her parents.
