Riley and having pre- sentation this week as a Playshop pro- duction at Annie May Swift hall. Mr. Spayde played twe seasons in chautau- qua dramatics, and for two years in Shakespearean plays at the Garden Terrace theater, Yankton college, Yankton, S. Dak. Last spring he played in the Playshop production, "The Knot." Would Open New Gym to Men of Township During Winter Time The Board of Education of the New Trier High school, in re- sponse to many requests from the com- munity is considering a plan to open the new gymnasium two nights a week for the use of the men of the town- Township ship. If a sufficient number are interested the gymnasium will probably be open for this purpose Tuesday and Thurs- day nights during January and Febru- ary, and possibly March. There will be opportunity for basket- ball, handball, squash, volley ball, in- door ball, track, etc. The play facilities are unusually fine. Membership sufficient to cover oper- ating expenses must be secured in ad- vance. Those interested should com- municate at once with W. L. Childs at the high school. RETURNING FOR CHRISTMAS Elizabeth Durham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond E. Durham, 808 Auborn avenue, will return for Christ- mas day from Vassar college, where she is a Freshman this year. On De- cember 26, she will leave for Detroit to spend a week with a school friend. She will then return to her home where she will remain until leaving for school January 8.
