92 WINNETKA TALK December 15, 1928 Mrs. Asher, Sister of Mrs. Koll, Dies Saturday Mrs. Earl Asher, of Evanston, sister of Mrs. Henry J. Koll, of 1412 Elm- wood avenue, Wilmette, died Saturday morning at St. Francis hospital. The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Wheadon M. E. church in Evanston, with the Rev. Joseph Burrows officiating. Mrs. Asher was 41 years old and had lived in Evanston eight years. She is sur- vived by her husband; three children, Dorothy, Earl Jr., and Milton; and two sisters, Mrs. Camill Beck of Dalton, Ill, and Mrs. Koll, of Wil- mette, TO BE DANCE HOSTS Wednesday, January 2, a dance will be given at the Country club of Ev- anston by a group of New Trier Senior boys which includes Alfred Hunter Hicks, William Thomas Reed, Robert Alexander Joslin, Arthur Tuttle Mc- Intosh, Jr., Eugene Crosby O'Connor, Harold Byron Keith, Edward Evans Munn, Robert Clark Hill, and John Mortimer Parker. REVIEW GALSWORTHY PLAY Galsworthy's "Pigeon" will be re- viewed by the Play-Reading class at the meeting in Camp Fire room of Community House next Tuesday even- ing. The class is open to both mem- bers and guests. Miss Frances Ranney, daughter of the Royal W. Ranneys of 1011 Oak street, will return from Smith college, for the holidays next Wednesday or Thursday. Her sister, Kathryn, will arrive next Friday from Knox college at Galesburg. Four boxes of clothing and gifts were mailed from the Skokie school on Thursday to several Cheyenne Indian schools on a Cheyenne reservation in southeastern Montana. --_--O-- Miss Jane Philbrick will return from Wellesley college on December 21, to spend the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Allen E.
