Description
A letter from Rev. Hugh Henry Fitzpatrick to Bp. MacDonell introducing the bearer as Mr. Treacy, whose son is in prison due to the 1837 rebellion, and asking the Bishop to intercede.

Fr. Fitzpatrick notes that the Bishop's circular letter promoted the loyalty of all but a few Catholics near Loydtown.
