A letter from Edward, Duke of Kent, in reply to Rev. William P. MacDonald's letter.

The Duke believes MacDonald's failure with regard to Lord William Bentinck is due to anti-Catholic sentiment.

He also advises against bringing the case before Parliament and suggests Canada as a place for future endeavors.
