A letter from Rev. Patrick O'Dwyer in reply to Bp. Remi Gaulin's letter of 4 February 1841.

Rev. O'Dwyer describes his difficult work and harsh living conditions, and complains about his congregation's parsimonious nature. He asks for another mission.

As well, Rev. O'Dwyer asks if he may officiate with Rev. William Patrick McDonagh at Lake Simcoe.
