The Dominion Seed House is recognized as one of Halton Hills’ most historic and important businesses. Operating in Georgetown from approximately 1928 to 1994, it was once the largest mail order seed business in Canada.

This exhibit will take you through the different stages of Dominion Seed House’s story:

• Taking Root (1922-1936)
• Sprouting Success (1937-1952)
• A Blooming Business (1953-1989)
• End of the Season (1990-2003)
You will learn more about its founder, William Bradley, and can browse through a gallery of its famous catalogues. Featuring archive material and photographs, this virtual exhibit will showcase the success story of Dominion Seed House.
