MOFFATT.
Mrs. John Patterson, sr., of the first concession of this township, has been for some time past complaining of asthma and affection of the heart. She was taken down some time since with the influenza which developed into bronchitis, last week, and on Saturday morning last she passed away. She was buried in the Moffatt Methodist church on Monday afternoon, when a large number of sorrowing friends attended the funeral and services. She was a devoted christian woman and had been for many years a member of the Methodist church and very much respected. She was about 65 years of age. Nearly all the other members of her family are laid up with the disease, and her husband especially is very sick.- Featured Link
