ROCKWOOD
The funeral of the late James Auld took place on Friday afternoon from the homestead, Eramosa, and was very largely attended. The service at the home was conducted by the deceased's pastor, Rev. Mr. Dodds, assisted by Rev. Mr. Hall. At the church, crowds had gathered to pay a last token of respect to the memory of their old friend. Rev. Mr. Blair, Nassagaweya, assisted by Rev. Mr. Douglas, Rockwood, conducted the solemn and impressive service of the Presbyterian Church. The pall bearers were: Mr. Senior, Wm. McLean, Wm. Argo, (fellow elders), John Ramsey, Arch. Robertson and G. M. Anderson.
