Sad Death of a Young Man.
The sudden and unexpected death of Thomas Arthurs, eldest son of Mr. Thomas Arthurs of lot 25, con. 2, Esquesing, on Thanksgiving Day was a very sad event. The young man was about 19 years of age had been employed with Mr. Wm. Gillies, of the Scotch Block, during the summer, his time was up on Saturday and he intended returning home on Monday, 9th inst. On Sunday he was at church, when he returned, jumped out on the barn floor and in so doing burst a blood vessel. He lived until Thursday when death took place. The funeral on Saturday afternoon from his father's home was very largely attended.- Featured Link
