Called In the Prime of Life.
About the last of May Mr. Robert Moore, of Fergus, spent a couple of days with Acton friends. Last Thursday the sad news of his death reached here. He was afflicted with an internal tumor. An operation was performed a week before his death, but it was unsuccessful. Mr. Moore was a strong, hearty man of vigorous constitution and was highly esteemed in the circles in which he moved. He was in his fifty-second year, an active member of the Methodist Church, and also of the I. O. Foresters. The funeral last Friday was conducted by Revs. T. W. Jackson and Matthew Swann. The Foresters also took part in the last sad rites. Mr. Moore's partner in life and his family of three sons and two daughters survive him. They are left in very comfortable circumstances.
