General regret was felt here last week at the news of the death on Wednesday evening, at the home of his parents in Guelph, of Archie Strachan, son of Rev. D. Strachan, formerly of this place. About a year ago he contracted a severe cold, which settled into la grippe. The trouble developed into consumption, which resisted the best care and medical skill. Some four months ago, in the hopes of gaining renewed strength, Mr. Strachan visited Mexico and remained there for two months, arriving home just a month ago. The trip did not benefit him much; on the contrary, it appeared to aggravate the trouble. Deceased had been in the employ of Messrs. G. B. Ryan & Co., drygoods merchants for the past five years. He was a consistent member of St. Andrew's Church. - Featured Link
