BALLINAFAD.
This community lost by death last Friday an old and highly esteemed resident in the person of Mr. George Beswick. Mr. Beswick had reached an advanced age, being in his eighty-ninth year. He had been in poor health for some time and gradually his hold upon life loosend. He was a resident of Erin township for many years, and died upon his homestead, lot 3, on the sixth line, Erin. Some years ago Mr. and Mrs. Beswick removed to Acton and enjoyed several years residence there, and made many friends. Mrs. Beswick died several years ago, and then the old gentleman returned to Erin and has since resided with his son, Mr. Ebenezer Beswick. He was a kind neighbor and an earnest Christian man. The funeral yesterday afternoon was very largely attended.
