SUSAN DUNN
Terribly sudden was the news to the friends here of the death of Miss Susan Dunn, of Chatham, on Tuesday. She had been in good health but was taken with acute indigestion which was followed by heart failure, and her brother and other friends here were overwhelmed with the news of her death on Tuesday. Miss Dunn was the daughter of the late James Dunn and was born on lot 21, second line, Esquesing. Twenty-seven years ago she removed with her father to Peterboro and shortly after to Chatham. She was the companion of her father during his declining years. Her mother died in 1885 and her father a year ago last December. Of the ten sons and daughters of the home all survive but two. Miss Dunn was a devoted member of the Roman Cahtolic Church. The remains were brought to Acton last evening, to the home of Mr. John Dunn, her brother, Main Street. The funeral will be held this morning at ten o'clock to St. Joseph's Church, and thence to Dublin Cemetery for interment. - Featured Link
