EDWARDS, Margaret Robertson A long time resident of Oakville, peacefully passed away at the Village of Taunton Mills in Whitby the day after her 97th birthday. Margaret was the beloved wife and soul mate of the late Harry (Henry) Edwards for 74 years. She will be sadly missed by the children she loved, the late Lynne Albrecht (2008) and her husband Erwin, Barry and his wife Tina, Gail Sharkey and her partner Bill Newhouse. Margaret was the devoted grandmother of nine, great grandmother of 14, great great grandmother of 2. Margaret was a caring and generous woman always willing to help her family making sure children's appointments and events were met on time. She was a tireless volunteer for many years at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital specifically in the children's ward. An adventurous woman she travelled many places with Harry even living in Austria for a short time after retirement. Margaret's family will receive friends at a gathering to remember and celebrate her life on Saturday, December 18th at 12 p.m. at Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville, (905-842-2252).
